Duel to the Death: Terenitus Catilina

Duel to the Death: Terenitus Catilina

I, Andy Peloquin, challenge you, Martin Allen, to a duel to the death! But it is not we who will fight, but our characters… In the black corner, weighing in at 180 pounds, standing a cool 6 feet tall, the Hunter of Voramis! Bucelarii 2 Small Tale of the Tape:
  • Superhuman reflexes, strength, speed--think Captain America, but stronger
  • Thousands of years of weapons training
  • Body has accelerated healing factor--can survive a sword to the heart (can be killed by drowning, iron weapons, beheading, and suffocation)
  • Cannot be killed by anything but iron
  • Accursed dagger that heals him when he kills
  • No magical abilities whatsoever
  • No hesitation to kill if he perceives opponent as a threat/obstacle to his desires--classic anti-hero
In the volcanic red corner, we have Terenitus Catilina! Catilina Tale of the Tape:
  • Advanced Military Prostetics
  • Brain Implants
  • Tactical Cerebral Implant
  • Database Cerebral implant
  • Space Age Full Body Armour
  • Full Tactical Database
  • Integrated instant downloads to all Imperial databases, intellegence and software upgrades (i.e. you don't just fight her, you fight the Empire itself - literally)
  • Almost no human body parts remaining
  • Acelerated healing via nanobots
  • Access to advanced weapons (including, but not limited to guns that materialise bullets from energy in whatsoever configuration and material the software determines and Monomolecular Bades).
  • Integrated Cerebral Communications Array
  • Augmented Vision (Infra-Red etc)
  • Access to quantum transportation technology
  • Almost total immunity to nerve agents
  • Advanced Conditioning to be utterly devoted to the mission
  • Devotly Religious
  • Vengeful
Two enter the ring, only one can leave alive! How would Catilina kill the Hunter? Catilina would use the cerebral implants coupled with the Empire's surveillance to assess the threat and the hundreds of years of computer tactical data would combine with the advanced processing power of the Empire to formulate a plan of attack based upon negating his strengths and capitalising on his weaknesses. To kill Catilina: The Hunter would try to overwhelm her with his inhuman speed, strength, and skill. All he has to do is pierce her skin with Soulhunger, and the dagger will consume her soul. Not even someone with considerable magical abilities can survive Soulhunger's bite--it was created to kill demons. Who would win? The Hunter's inhuman strength, speed, and reflexes are outmatched by Catilina's cybernetically enhanced body, and her database would give her access to weapons data throughout history. Catilina's arsenal is more than able to overpower the Hunter's healing ability, and her futuristic weapons can easily shred skin and slice through bone. Decapitation! With all biological elements effectively shielded (thus no soul to steal or blood to consume), the Hunter would be at a terrible disadvantage. He would have no idea how truly outmatched he was in the seconds before he died a gruesome death. Winner: Catilina. The future is a terrible thing to behold!
